| Re: blue anchor info Dave Blue anchor is 2 up 2 down at most & best on springs. Sea goes miles out over mud flats, we stayed in caravan across road from sea wall. On low tides we tried Minehead - white rock & Porlock. As its heading rowards neap I would have thought Lilstock. Good Luck whatever you decide. | Re: blue anchor info if your looking to keep the tide chasing ya i would be heading to bossington (between minehead n porlock) , its a bit of a trek along the beach from the car park as you want to fish up close to the point if you look on bing maps for bossington you dont wanna fish anywhere near the inlets they are an absolute minefield for tackle , and with a southerly forecast you ll be fairly well sheltered from the wind. But be prepared for the tide to keep ya moving every 20 ish minutes up the beach , a friend of mine fished it and had some quality whiting and 5 codling to just under 3lbs. hope this helps |

| Re: blue anchor info if you fish up close to the point iv only ever lost 1 set of tackle, its completely different if you fish closer to the carpark , i used to completely dismiss bossi due to tackle losses but its not as unfriendly as you first think, good luck where ever you go to though |

| Re: blue anchor info Fished Bossy pre xmas and snagged up on almost every cast but was at least 130 yards from the point. Tides too small for Blue Anchor at the weekend. White Mark would be worth a look as so would MOD over low and back up and you've already mentioned Lilstock. __________________ Species so far for 2012 Pike,Chub,Roach,Ruffe,Mackeral,Plaice, LSD,Pout |
