Happy New Year guys!

Am off out with my mate Gary later today to visit a favourite local mark, will let you know how we get on.

Oh it snowed! lol

We got to the mark at 1530 and decided to grab a coffee before exiting the van to make a short walk across a field to the flood bank and it had started to snow but not too hard, by the time the coffee was gone the wind had picked up and the snow was coming in horizontaly!
We sat in the van cowering for another 5 minutes before deciding to "get the fook out of here".

It was the first time in a long time that we'd beat a hasty retreat homeward without getting the rods out but it wouldnt of been clever to have stayed!

Had the same at Avonmouth. Got everything set up. Was waiting for the tide to show. Started snowing so much I had to pack in. Didn't really want to spend the night in Avonmouth. Hoping the weather will be okay Saturday morning.
