| Re: bristol channel time Hi Ritchie, 3 off us had three reasonably sized codling off there around a month ago. I blanked at the same mark a couple of weeks back. I'm going to give it a try on Thursday morning this week. __________________ 2012: None Lifetime: Codling, Grey Gurnard, Mackerel, Pollock, Pouting, Wrasse, Scad. |

| I went on sunday morning at 04.00. I was next to the Portishead pier at the Marina. thought I could get on to pier but it is locked. Bloody freezing. I was covered with thin ice ,my box , rod everything. crap thing was did not catch a thing. I reckon that it is too cold. All you experienced people may tell me I am wrong but since it has been so cold I have not caught a thing. Weather is looking up so hopefully this weekend will be better. Can I just ring the tackle shop for the pier code key or do I have to visit them? |
