| should have been here yesterday mate well as i shouted Burnham was the venue for tuesdays piscitorial jaunt weather was a sad breezy from S/E , and forcasted to get worse after midnight and a tad of wet weather to follow. 4 mates from club had fished there the night before and all had had codling and 1 had a good conger so thoughts were on for a good eve, tacktics were to fish both rods 3/0 pennels 1 rod with lots of worm other squid or mackeral hopeing for either, cod/eels or ray picked up Si at 6.30 and we got there at 7,30 and went right from allendale rd untill we hit the mud, which seemed super slippery last night and there we stood, till we had had enough of stareing at unmoveing rods till 11.30( also saw the weather was closeing)...didly ...nadder..big fat blank for both of us quick kebab at possibly best kebab shop we know in burnham then a horrible drive home in the galeforce winds and rain that came in( been some severe flooding arround here and cornwall overnight and as title says.....we should have been there the night before, oh well next time  dave and today realised that I managed when putting bait away in early hours that i've frozen down a fiver of ragworm i still had wrapped ...Dohhhh __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |
