| Re: New Passage I fished at Severn Beach last saturday night. It was a 13m + tide and found a spot to the left of the wall which was clear of salt grass and debris. Plenty of bites on the flood tide and codling, most undersize. Took only one keeper in the end which was full of crab and shrimp. Baits lug, rag and tipping off with a diamond of squid. There was loads of grass, weed on the flood which was a bit of a problem and caught up the leader knot in end eye. This quickly went over high and ebb. You should do alright if weather is kind to you. Really good year for the codling ![]() |
