| My first cod! - Severn Beach Took a trip down to the Bristol Channel this morning with a few mates and was lucky enough to hook my first ever cod. We landed three in total all on a coctail of squid and lug.  __________________ 2012: None Lifetime: Codling, Grey Gurnard, Mackerel, Pollock, Pouting, Wrasse, Scad. Blimey I didnt realise my ugly mug was going to come out that big! There were four of us two of which blanked but all on the same bait (mixture of squid and lug wrapped up in elasticated cotton) so just pure luck I guess. P.S.
