Advice for Woolacombe and nearby I'm off to Woolacombe in a couple of weeks on one of those cheapy holiday deals and was thinking of taking some kit with me. Is it worth it? Anyone catching off there or nearby? I'm guessing the actual beach at Woolacombe will be a waste of time but was thinking of Putsborough to the west or Baracane/Morthoe to the east. Any advice much appreciated.

Re: Advice for Woolacombe and nearby have only fished puttsborough its a big flat beach and the tide races in and out fish over low with either sandeel or fish baits for ray and bass, but keep gear to minimum as you will be moveing back with tide at a fair rate ![]() dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives

Re: Advice for Woolacombe and nearby Thanks Pingu, I've never fished there but love that Western side of the bay. Gotta be worth a go I reckon. Not deep enough for feathers you think?
