| Well what a suprise... I've caught my first 2 bass from the shore this month. First was on beach at Minehead..weighed in at 3lb8oz, caught on squid. Second was spinning Nr Bossington with dexter wedge.. and because i am skint and cant afford a spinning rod i was using an uptider which ended up becoming a pain in my forearm.. Anyway i am not proud! i still caught one with it.. weighed in at 3lb2oz. So i'm pretty happy now.. just waiting for the tides to come good again for more.. providing the frosts hold off before hand. Unfortunatly I lost a good friend/fellow fisherman couple weeks ago so that has put a downer on things, He lived for his fishing and we as a group of 4 had some fantastic times fishing the shores of the bristol channel and the reservoir.. Now we are 3 and his memory will be long lived as shocked as we all are.. RIP PAUL! Going fly fishing hopefully on friday @ Clatworthy.. last day of the season i am lead to believe so going to try my luck, not sure what is doing up there at the moment. Tight Lines Folks |
