geordie finally found the fish on his fifth time oflooking

went to brixham pier on monday,my fifth destination on the south coast hoping and praying for fish as ive blanked on the other four and finallymanaged to pull 27 mackerel,2 codling,3 pollock,2 garfish and a big crab which had claws on its front as usual but had another set of claws on the back too,never seen one like that before,there were 3 blokes who said theyve fished there for years but never known anyone to bottom fish and catch,also said its a waste of time using rag,three amigos i think coz clearly bottom and rag work extremely well,went back on wednesday for a short session,weather was shit,managed 8 mackerel,4 pollock and my first bass,gotthe biggest bite ive ever had and was struggling to reelit in then it snapped my 20 pound main line defo be going back there its a cracking spot

they were lovely mate and my first bass was canny too,wish i had landed the one that snapped my line,im guessing it could have been a conger as the fella next to me had the same type of bite and it snapped his main line too,apparently there are plenty round their,might try for one next time
