Re: Brixham pier

hello matey, iv fished that pier a few times over the years, usually as backup when the weathers been rough. iv caught lots of wrasse close in on ragworms, had pouting too and mackerel during summer. seen mullet caught from the inner side of the pier. hope this helps.

Re: Brixham pier

cheers fellas, went on monday for a long session, pulled 27 mackerel,2 codling,3 pollock,2 garfish and a big cra which had claws on its front as usual but had another set of claws on the back too, never seen one like that before, there were 3 blokes who said theyve fished there for years but never known anyone to bottom fish and catch, also said its a waste of time using rag, three amigos i think coz clearly bottom and rag work extremely well, went back on wednesday for a short session, weather was shit, managed 8 mackerel,4 pollock and my first bass, gotthe biggest bite ive ever had and was struggling to reelit in then it snapped my 20 pound main line defo be going back there its a cracking spot
