Lilstock Double blank

well last night was a toss up between lilstock or burnham

the wind was still northerly but we decided on lilstock as didnt really fancy the mud at burnham

got there just on low and fished just to left of pipe as 3 people over the pipe and just right

well both rich and i tried , squid , bluey, sardine, crad and sandeel

result a double blank, not even a nod on all four rods

did see the guys to right have 2 ray( our target) and a codling

first time a double blank in a long time( guess thats what happens when only fishing 4/0 hooks for 1 fish)

not an unpleasent night though and didnt lose gear till last cast, and a def autumnal chill in air now

thats it now till the I O W on Wednesday, at least we got the blank out the way early

good ! that means we will get them all on Tuesday on the way down the Solent

Unlucky lads , my only blank of this year was up the BC but i know theres cod to be had at Aust .... it's just biting the bullet and heading West
