Everyone is saying there is hardly anything around at the moment which was a shame. I'll give chesil a try on Friday.

As Dave ( pingu ) will tell you, theres even less coming off the dorset coast mate..
Plenty of sport round the Solent when the weed is at bay though

Someone mentioned a large trawler is cleaning up off chesil. Oh well, it's a 'night out' at least.

I can think of loads of worse ways to spend a Friday night mate .. Chesil has that ability to draw you back every time !! it wasn't so long ago that Friday through to Sunday trips were the norm at Abottsbury and it might just be worth another visit for me too before the mackerel and other summer species disappear .
