Nice one Shaun ... aren't freshly caught Cod just the most beautiful fish! Gonna have to give it a go down your way ... try as I might up here, there just don't seem to be any Codling there

Looks like 50 quid's worth of petrol's gonna be the only solution!!

Cheers matey - when's the next set of decent tides for down there? I'd love to have a go somewhere different, it's only about 200 miles, think I could do there and back in a day, or perhaps grab a travellodge or something on the way back ..

nice one mate i have got to get me a cod may be in the winter i have only ever seen cod wrapped in batter

i would like to get a cod next winter, even if its only 2oz i will be happy, i think my best bet is when i go up north to whitby next winter

try west bexington or the dragons teeth at abbotsbury, late oct dec (need good blows and frost's)all part of chesil,hinkley power station 2hrs down-2 up,mind the tide cycle it will cut you off if you are'nt vigilant.
