 There back Giltheads that is. A mate of mine had two last night not big fish 2lb14oz and 3lb 7oz whilst bassin with crab in about 5ft water . He said he miss five good crane overs before he hooked the frist one . There were lots of giltheads that showed up last year many were 2 to 3 lb ers and also some good specimens evern the local record of 8/8/8 was beaten by a fish of 9lb 2oz .it seems that most are taken when bassing with crab i also had my pb last with a fish of 7lb 5oz also taken on crab whilst bass fishing . so from now on i am going gilting so lets hope the biggy comes sooner than later .  __________________ its cold its wet but we sill do it     |
