Hi me and my brother are both going for an evening fish on saturday, both of us relative newbies, just brought a couple of rods and reels, and wondering where should go for a few mackerel, or possibly some plaice, live in exeter so would like any suggestions within 45 miles away of where to go and what rigs set up etc should take with us. Thank you

Re: where to go in devon ? not beeen in devon this week but if been as calm as here then fishing will be harder to find but easier for the fisherman, its a big tide i am hopeing to try charmouth satyrday but from exeter you could try budleigh for mixed fishing, or go west down torquay princess peir for some easy sport ![]() dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives

Re: where to go in devon ? As Dave said. I fished Branscombe last night for a total of 4 doggies. Nice night though. Might be a touch early for the Mackie. Give it another month I reckon. Let us know how you get on. ![]() __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check. Reels. Check. Speckled Hen. Check. Bait…… BAIT! Sh*t, where’s the bait?
