Re: best spots for fishing in plymouth?

The inward facing side is all sand/muddy bottom after you get past the boulders which go out around 20 yards

The seaward facing side is all rocky / mixed ground apart from the final part where the rocks stick out further, then its a bit cleaner

I always float fish the seaward facing side with worm or fish strip

Re: best spots for fishing in plymouth?

It maybe a little early in the year but Mount Edgcombe would be worth a try for an early Thornback over a rising tide if you have peeler and are prepared to fish into the dark.
