| Re: newbie going to perrenporth at the weekend I was there for a week last week. Lovely beach with a good surf. You need to fish from the rocks to the left of Perranporth looking out to sea. there are a number of rocky platforms and you are fishing onto clean ground. Best bait is sandeel or if you can get it fresh peeler. It is one of the few places I know that you can get a turbot from the shore. There are plenty of Bass and rays. You could try plugging around the rocks for Bass and Pollock at dawn or dusk. I never had a chance to do that but it looked like it would produce. __________________ Check my blog for a daily fishing forecast from Weymouth, Portland, Chesil Beach & Kimmeridge Bay. www.fishingtails.co.uk |
