Seatown newbie

Hi everyone.

going to Seatown next week end for 2 weeks in the caravan. me and my son fancy a bash at fishing, never done this before. bought a beachcaster rod and looking for another before the travelling, what sort of rigs would anyone recommend and any first time newbie fresh behind the ears we dont realy have a clue wnat were letting ourselves in for advise would be very much appreciated.

Hi if this is seatown dorset

try 1 rod not too far with sandeel or squid single rig 2/0 or 1/0 flapper either single or double ( all rigs can be brought easy) with squid or sandeel for bass/anything

other throw out as far as can with either crab or sandeel again on single rigs for either smoothound ( crab) or ray (sandeel)

if want get smaller (size 1 hook ) rig and use worm for anything ( can be great fun)
centre beach is clean ground left and right snaggier

tides good after next weekend
