fishing westard ho !! advice appreciated

Gonna fish Westward Ho beach low tomorrow eve. Can't fish the rocks as my fishing buddy don't swim an has a fear of deep water. As there has been stacks of rain is it best to avoid the estuary mouth have heard this can put bass off. Any tips appreciated on bait etc. cheers.

eh what where ja hear that rain puts the bass off are they gonna get wet or somethinksome of my best fishing was done in the mersey estuary in the rain including bass

I know sounded bloody odd to me to maybe think they meant further up the actual river when there is a lot more fresh water flowing down due to the rain.

Blankety blank. Weedy an windy few hours but still good to get bait in the water.
