Smile new pb

Hi all well decided me and the misses would be out fishing this weekend, and i would proably get my butt kicked again.Started by getting my new rods out.
So wrasse fishing it was saturday we had about twelve each but all around three pound mark so not so great,so a draw i guess.
Sunday came what to do westerly winds 8-12mph,ok channel i thought but were was it going to be lilstock, shurton or do i do something diffrent. We got to the mark about nine thirty and started fishing by quarter ten. It was about quarter to eleven and i had decided to move two hundred yards down the beach, so i was away from the rods at time when the misses was shouting for me to come back because my ratchet had gone of a couple of turns. Came bouncing across the boulders and nothing was happening. Great proably a lump of weed, better check the bait thou. Yep a lump of weed dead weight is all i felt, wait whats this thump thump the weed was trying to run. A few minutes later this was thrashing around my feet and i was dancing up and down the beach.
blonde ray of 15lb0oz2drs new club record as well
