| Re: blue anchor tonight 22.30 hrs hi guys my mate and i fished blue anchor tonight we got there for 8 oclock, (ht 22.20) pleasant evening but a little breezy, there was about 10 other anglers already there. we both set up with 3 hook clip downs, eventually started fishing about 20.30, i had barely put the rod down when i had an absolute clonker of a bite and missed it grrrr, nt a great start but there was signs of life. i launched another bait as far as i could and my mate tim had a little doggy, my rod remained motionless for the next 20 mins, tim had another dog and a pout, i reel in rebait and gently put the next bait out about 50 yards at most, a couple of minutes later nod nod and i land a doggy, rebait small cast and bingo another doggy , seems weird but the fish were definitely closer in as a lot of people round us were launching and i saw very few fish come in. all in all between us we had 7 doggys and 1 pout , saw the odd pout n doggy come in around us but nothing notable cheers |
