Combe martin Got a weekend in April booked and thinking of taking the rods. Very rocky but i like the gower for fishing the gullies for our silver friends with a big lump of crab. Anyone know if it would be too early for our spikey friends here, and if so i presume it would be low tide fishing as i'm not a mountain goat. any info would be appreciated and returned if your ever up my neck of the woods john __________________ 2012 targets - 180 yard measured cast, 10lb bull huss, 12lb blonde, 10lb hound, 8lb small eyed, spotted ray any size

Re: Combe martin Hi John, I fished combe martin a couple of times several years ago, had a few small wrasse and pollock off the sea wall just below the car park, no bass, a local angler had a whacking great conger about 40lb from the same mark while i was there. __________________ The marquis de sade dont wear no boots like these

Re: Combe martin Sorry, too late but I've seen quite a few fish including bass taken from the rocky area you can get to to the right of the beach at low tide but you definately have to get back before high tide or get up the rocks to safety!!!
