| First fish of the year Happy new year all! I went for a few hours fishing on new years day.I fished a local beach near myself and silverfish.Fished two rods with running ledger rigs and small sandeel baits into a big surf.Just before it got dark i caught a bass about 38/39cm,i started getting cold so packed up but i am happy that my first fish of 2009 was a bass and not a doggy LOL      |
