Pentewan Sands area next May.

We are off to Cornwall next may for a week. Pentewan sands to be exact. Does anyone know the best spots for this corner of Kernow ?

Hi m8,Are you staying on the campsite on the beach.You get bass & more bass at pentewen.Also flatties.I live about 2 miles from it.Give me a shout nearer the time.Cheers marty.

We are one row back from the very front of the beach. There'll be me and some inland mutant and we'll be fishing mostly when the girls (all SIX of them ) are tucked up in bed. Sounds like it'll be fun then. I'll PM you my mobile nearer the date.

I live not far from pentewan and fish around the area with silverfish.Should be a few more bass around by may,also maybe various flatties.Stick to simple running ledger rigs with lug or sandeel and you should winkle a few fish out

,give me or silverfish a pm and i am sure we can arrange to have a beach fishing trip with you.

class for bass up there m8 mainly 1-4 pound but still nice bass

It's 25 years since i fished there things have probably changed alot since, I had plenty of flounder off what looked like an old harbour wall and I remember there was what seemed an old harbour there which had quite a few trout in it but they were murder to catch

Theres still flounder off the old harbour wall,theres no fishing signs around the pool now,ive seen small rudd in there,youve got me thinking bout those trout

.may have to take a night walk over there with my little tele rod and some worms LOL
