| Plymouth Sound 18 oct Took the boat out on Sat morning and headed for Tinker bank. Lots of mackereal but most only small. Time constraint meant we had to head in the direction of home so we fished for a bit just inside the breakwater trying baited feathers and flappers. Also tried some small hard backed crabs in an attempt to get some bass. Total catch amounted to some fair size mackeral 1 1/2 pound pollack and a acad. Black spot on the gill the only clue to the scad. Everything very tasty!!! Flapper took a few big knocks but retrieved to find only the head left, the hook being completly missed!     |
