| Perranporth last weekend Quick report chaps. Went to Truro last weekend for a wedding for three days as my family come from there - thought it rude not to get myself a few bass as they are gauranteed down in Cornwall ................ arent they ? Fished a very steep ledge to the left of Perranporth beach with a local mate and the swell coming in was around about 5ft. Perfect conditions for the bass as the sun set and the night drew in - sandeel for bait in the daylight followed by lug and squid during the night. Well what a load of Cornish horseshit !!! Had a bloomin great evening as Ive not been out since Feb ( with my son being born ! ) and it was a fantastic venue but bugger was it cold and in 6 hours with three of fishing we had only one bite to show for our efforts !! Still - a few cans of merrydown helped to make it more enjoyable and the company made the evening a nice return to being out in the starry nights again ! Roll on the cold cod fishing nights eh !!!!!!!!! __________________ So near yet so far - Wembley 2008 - Zideered Right Up !     |
