Everhopeful is on a distinguished road
Devils Point 9 Aug

Imagine the scene: driving rain, wind, more driving rain. The distinct smell of wee; yes it can only be Devil's Point at 0700.

The rain is beginning to get depressing, I'm sure everyone will agree. Only lasted an hour or so and just used feathers. Two small mackies caught.

I was going to settle into a morning of fishing: a bit of ground bait, maybe a go for some bass. But wet and cold I gave up.

Onwards and upwards!
