| 3 Aug Devils Point Blimey, I seem to always end up here. Fished this morning from about 6.30am until high tide. Mackerel and Pollock caught with enough for a snack at home. Lots of minnow sized Pollock chasing small rice grain sized fish in near the rocks and sometimes leaping out of the water. With mackerel and Pollock about I'm guessing that bass may be about so had a go with a dexter wedge and also the lure. No luck for bass but I had a go anyway. Does anyone else think this was the right conditions for bass : I cast close in to the rocks hoping to tempt a lurking bass to strike from deep ; or have I gone off on a flight of fancy!Keen to here the more seasoned member's thoughts |

| Re: 3 Aug Devils Point Try a bubble float with live sand eel down there if you want the best chance of bass Need to go early morning though and fish it close in to the weed/rocks __________________ |
