| Devils Point 30 July Went for fish-a-thon around Plymouth Sound with a mullet rig ready, surface bass lure etc, ready basically for anything. Ended up at Devils Point 2 hours before high tide and with nothing caught so far decided to kick off with with some feathers. Rained heavily and other fisher folk their with no catches so I didn't feel very hopeful. An hour or two later I had three mackerel and three herrings? Not sure on the herrings, they were definitely sardine like. One thing for sure all of them tasted very nice for my tea.     |
