| Minehead/Blue Anchor Decided the weatherman had got it wrong again & tootled off to Minehead on Saturday. Fished just up from the white mark between 10:00 and 14:30 with the high tide around 13:00. Managed to snaffle a lsd  on the 3rd put in. Have been missing these for ages  , safely returned.It tiddled down all the time with a brisk easterly, but I didn't mind one bit. Fish & chips for afternoon tea (both had cod (bad I know  ) to avoid confusion), then off to Blue Anchor to fish the tide over the top 17:00 to 20:30.Only saw one positive bite around high tide and brought in a large whiting/pouting head, the rest had been bitten clean off  .All in all a good day, far better than last week watching the box and being amazed at how nice the weather was.  . __________________ Spahill Just like the fish, the wit got away... 2008 - Sessions 15; Blanks 4; Species 10     |
