| First macky of 08 Hi fisherfolk,spoke to a friend yesterday thay told me that the macky are showing in mevagissey.So thought a walk down before tea would be nice.Also the rods in hand to.Arrived at the harbour at 5:30pm with the kids.We stopped & had a look at a navy boat along the way.A few other guys there already.So asked anybody catching,Not a bite thay replyed.Set up rods for the kids with floats,Bait macky & sandeel.Some small pollack cought 7 inch.Set my rod up with feathers.First cast 2 macky.What a start i thought & had a few looks from the other fisherfolk.Who cares anyway i thought sad gits.Nothing for the next hour, So headed home for some tea.Very happy with the macky showing fill the freezer up again,Hopfully.Also a few more points on the hunt.It was a great evening out with the kids.All the best marty & kids.
