Is it worth a ago

Hello fishermen and fisherladies,
Was thinking of a bit of estuary fishing tomorrow. But my mate is telling me that he was told because we have had so much rain it would not fish very well. Because it would have to much fresh water in it. So does any one no if its still worth a bash or should i hit a beach.

Ps i have put this on the wrong page DOH!

He's probably right. I'd opt for the beach....
