Smile life in salcombe !!

Well its been a while since ive posted on the forum due to new job and busy busy busy but it aint stopped the fishing… now working as head chef at the marine hotel salcombe right on the estuary…..been out 2-3 times a week with a mate (mat ) after work (well you got to really ) some of the species we have had are …bass,flounder,Pollack,thornies,doggies,conger and mat even hauled in a monkfish !!!! was out on weds night with mark (devon angling) and mat ,fished low water with fresh mackerel and landed a couple of ray one aboutt 9lb and mat had one of about 3lb right on low water and that was all , I think mark had a Pollack !!! well im looking forward to the spring / summer now , I hear they get some nice plaice and sole down there too !! just waiting to get the pics of all the fish off mats phone !!! heres one of the rays i had ,this was about 8-9lb !!!! tight lines ,kev



i think this was mats first ray as you can tell by the grin
