 Abbotsbury 18/02/08 Fished Abbotsbury from around 14:00 till 20:30, just right of the carpark. Free parking made it easier. Met two good friends down there, and set up for Flatties on my Light Surf rod, and Bass on my Heavier rod! Used every bait we had with little effect. Black lug, Squid, Ragworm, and slipper limpet. The sun started to set and we hoped for more bites.  Unfortunately nothing changed except the sunset.   Which was beautiful! Then a few dogfish appeared. John had a micro Poor Cod!  Oh well, good company and a 1.5 points for the species hunt.     |
