Thumbs up Re: fishing meet (maybe southcoast not bristol channel)

Fishing Chesil for Plaice would be good too. It's about time we had a Forum Chesil meet. Real mixed bag fishery, centrally located & fishable at all states of the tide too. Oh & I almost forgot, plenty of good local pubs.....

I've caught fish there at all states of the tide, Day & Night, although fishing the tide in during the hours of darkness doe's tend to produce the better speciemins. Great thing with Chesil is that you never know what species it will throw up next. Tackle & Bait supply are good too with tackle shops both ends of the beack. Weymouth, Portland & West Bay have a total of five shops that I know of.
