| Torbay Boat I havent posted for a while due to various reasons but managed to get out fishing the other weekend on the boat around Torquay with my brother. Decided to try and catch one of the big Wrasse in the morning and head off looking for some of the Codling that have been caught around Hopes NOse. With a BUcket full of peelers we found a nice little place to catch some Wrasse, within seconds we were both into fish and within 2 hours we had caught at least 30 all in between 4lb to 5lb, biggest of the day was 5lb 8oz, which we kept alive to weigh in for the club and is now safely roaming the waters! ![]() After havin fun with the Wrasse on light gear we headed in towards Hope Nose for some Codling, with the tide ripping through we only managed 2 with a few Whiting and the ever present Dogfish. All in all a good start to the year and good to be back amongst the fish, starting the year with a specimen isnt too bad. Next weekend a trip for the Big bull huss and thornies!!
