| Severn Beach Sun 13/1 Hadn't been out for ages & couldn't see trip in the future so decided to tootle off down the M4, with Kirikomi, regardless of the weather. Arrived about an hour before the tide did so had a walk along the wall & decided we wern't going to catch anything. Went back to the car and fetched the kit. Lashed a towel to the railings, then lashed the rods to the towel. Didn't really watch for bites as the rods were going nuts in the gentle breeze. Spent a few enjoyable hours not being indoors and not getting wet because the rain stayed on the other side of the bridge. Not all the bait came back with the hooks, but no suicidal fish paid me a visit. That's the start of a good day out - shame it finished there.
