| Stolford 10/01/08 Went to Stolford last night to fish. Went about 200m right hand side of car park. I set up my two rods and cast out, one with squid and the other with peeler crab, had two small knock's on the crab bait as the tide was coming in. just before high tide my mate had a codling of about a pound and a half, which fell to black lug. By this time i had nothing, the tide started to go out and still nothing, so i went over to my mate to have a chat and we decided to pack up, so i started to walk back to my rod's and as i was almost there my rod started to knock, so i ran over grabbed the rod and landed the smallest codling i have ever cought , but i was happy that i did not blanked. we might try again on a bigger tide and hopfully bigger fish     |
