| Flounder at last! Decided to brave the weather and nipped down to the river to meet Mark, try for a couple of hours, and play with yet another new toy, after an hour or so noticed the tip of the carp rod i was using had pulled right round, on investigation, a spirited Flounder of about 2 3/4lb arrived on the shore, first one for a few years! Put him back straight away and Mark had a bite, retrieved and had another fish about 1 1/2lb, both fish were in cracking condition, and both motored off when returned. We fished on down the tide, but the wind and rain got steadily worse and Max looked more and more bedraggled by the minute, so we decided to give it best, but, it's encouraging to know that at least there are two flounder in the sea! That was the first one,  That was Mark's Sorry Twiddler, no Max photo's today, he was damp and just looked peed off, even now he's got the hump, keeps leaving fine sand/mud all over the place, mainly my bed, despite a thorough drying off when we got in.
