| seven beach 23/12/07 Last night was the last club match for this year, so i went all out to try and get me a big cod. as soon as we got there, there was a fog, it was so bad we could not even see the sea. i went to the left of the wall, when it was time to start i cast my bait out (lug tiped with rag) and all night all i was getting was small knocks on the rod but no big cod, by the end of the match only one person had a fish, which was a 2 and a half pound codling on the other end of the wall. The rats were running of with baits and rigs, one bloke said when he went to cast out he looked back to were his bait was and all he could see was about 5 pairs of eyes looking at him. But never mind this is what fishing all about and why I LOVE SEA FISHING , you never know when that biggy is going to take the bait and you are always learning and meeting new people. MERRY XMAS |
