After school activites (seafishing)

Hi just been out fishing with the kids.Picked up the kids from school went home & we all got changed,Packed the rods & the kids into the car & headed off to hemmick beach about 5 miles from mevagissey.Got there at 4:15pm,the wind was picking up Also the surf so thought basstime!.Set up rods both with running legders & sandeel as bait on a pennel.After about 20 mins a bite brought in a nice size ray about 2 1/2 lbs put it back.Kids & me were all having a good time playing in the sand & making dams in the stream.went back to the rods & had another ray on about 1 1/2 lbs. Kids were geting the munchies so headed home.Got home at 6pm ready for tea.So had a good few hours at the beach.Just been watching the weather looks like the wind is coming this weekend, so the waves will pick up. Good time to be out bassing so i will keep you informed.All the best martin.

Hi greenheart. I think they are small eyed ray.Thay were brown with lighter brown strips.Hope this helps. All the best martin
