| First cod this season ! Fished a local BC mark last night not far from Severn Beach - we used what was described as the best cod bait around - Swansea Bay lug. Three rods out for two and a half hours and only a couple of small bites on this brilliant lug - then bang my first winter cod this year - a personal best weighing in at 4LB - caught on old squid that had been re - frozen four times !! Just goes to show - luck is all you need !!  __________________ So near yet so far - Wembley 2008 - Zideered Right Up !     |
