Flounder at Kingsbridge

Thought i would do a quick report from yesterday (6th Nov) up Kingsbridge

Arrived there at low tide about 9am with a 2.30ish high tide

Was only the small channel but it was full of life with mullet and other small fish swimmin and splashing round everywhere, got a quick pic...

Started fishin at about 10am when the tide started to come in and had the usual crabs to start off with

about an hour later i had the first bite. Thinkin it was a bass i wasnt very hopefull but sure enough it turned out to be a flounder

Sorry the pics are rubbish but i was on my own

Anyway half hour past and i had another the same size

Then another about the same time after

These 3 were all caught using floats as you cans ee in the last pic which was a bit strange as iv never had one on these before but im not complainin

Then i had a crabby looking bite on one of the other rods which was with no float so left it til it turned in to a proper bite and ended up with this one

Another rubbish pic but that was the biggest of the day at 2lb 4oz

Missed another two so could have been 6 in total but anyway, a great day for me

All were caught using ragworm and all on the flood tide, ran out of bait before the back tide!

Be up there again in 2 weeks hopin for some more!
