| Minehead town beach 27/10/07 Had a club match in Minehead last night. As soon as we got there we had a look around to find the best spot, after about 20 min we found our spot to fish which was just in front of butlins new hotel. i set me gear up. We started the match at 6pm. I cast out my line . my first bite was a small whiting which was under size. then i was getting bites after bites, but i could not hook in to the fish, this went on for about an hour, so i changed my rigs with smaller hooks and less bait on the hooks, then i cast out, then not long after casting out i had a bite, which was an under size whiting again. so i had ten mins to go and no fish on my match card, then my rod went and out came a whiting and it was in size with only 5min to spear.     |
