A little bit of flattie bashing

Hi all,

Went down to South East Cornwall today with mate Paul, and the hound, in order to catch some turbot, I know an area that gives them up quite frequently, and as Paul was quite keen to knock one off the species list, we headed off nice and early.

Got there about 8ish, with a thick mist kicking around, and
put out a couple of frozen sandeel each, the mist soon burnt off and with Paul dropping a fish on the first chuck, we had high hopes, however, it was'nt till about an hour before high that Paul hit the first fish, a mackerel, which became bait, then i had one, which became more bait, then Paul had a doggie, which Max gave close attention to, and then at last:-

Duck broken! Then to really make sure, a slightly better fish:-

Right i thought, i'd better get one now:-

So i did, i must admit tho, it's been a few years since the last one!
Shortly after this i managed another makkie, (more bait) which was sadly the last fish. It seems that they have a very defined feeding spell on this particular mark.

Meanwhile, oblivious to it all:-

Poor thing had to get up at 6 a.m., not happy about that! I had to take him 'cos if i did'nt Twiddler would be annoyed!!

Finally the mark:-

Till next time guys, take it easy

Take it easy guys,

Re: A little bit of flattie bashing

Well done guys, nice brace of turbot, looks a nice spot too....although I still reckon you nuts climbing all those rocks.

Aww and the love of my life had a snooze how cute, I'm sure Max didn't mind to get up early, as he knows that someone has to keep an eye on you and keep you out of mischief
