| Somerset Reefs - a load of straps 15/9/07 Somerset Reefs again yesterday over low water. Think 3 blokes fishing the pipe over high blanked. Kids in tow set up and fished 2 down and 2 up. Weather a treat and kids catching shrimps and baby mullet in the rock pools. 3 small straps over low and nothing big but all good fun. My first cast of the day resulted in a complete loss of end tackle, just managed to hit the edge of the rough stuff. Later in day sent the kids off to look for lost leads at dead low water. They came back with my set of gear and a lively small conger attached.  Photos:            |
