| Exmouth Thurs 2nd Went out in our boat yesterday for the first time in a few weeks - me the old man and Shads. Loaded up with fresh sandeel we steamed over to Teignmouth to give it a go for some bass for a while ................... Well we ended up staying for the morning fishing the ebbing tide. Had some belting sized makeral that put up a bloody good show on light gear and shock of all shocks four bass - three for Shads and my first of the summer !!! We werent able to measure them and decided that much as wed love to have a feed on them, conservation and a good feeling was the order of the day so back they went. Highlight of the day was our 11 month old weimaraner dog putting his head in the live bait tank chasing the sandeel and occassionally succeeding !!! Great fun and some good fishing for once ! __________________ So near yet so far - Wembley 2008 - Zideered Right Up !     |
