| Blue Anchor 2 August 2007 Morning All, Popped down to BA last night. High tide of 11.3 metres at about 10pm. It looked like I wasn't alone in thinking it would be a good night as the front was well populated with anglers ( probably 20 or more). Was treated to a smashing sunset but that was the best bit of the evening I'm afraid!! Not a touch on two rods from 8pm until I gave up at 11pm. Didn't see any fish landed and like me, those close by didn't seem to have a touch on their rods either. Tried lug, squid, peeler, sandeel and combinations but no interest at all. First blank for a long time at BA where you can usually rely on a Doggie or two.
