hello everybody.(sorry to distract you from your smutt meet!)
could anybody tell me a few good marks for flatfish (any type!). i live in somerset but will travel. i havent really caught flatfish yet and dont normally target any one speices but i really have a desire to catch a few this summer (fingers crossed)! any info is appriceated

southampton water is your best bet for a flattie,dibden bay near hythe,or weston shore near hamble.if its sole your after taddiford,hordle and barton throw up a few bigguns,magazine lane also produces sole but theese are not as big,lug or rag for the sole fished close in at night .hope this helps.if you need any help im fishing hordle or taddiford saturday night so would be glad to help out
