Desparate for a fish!

Hi everyone,

Just thought i'd tell you guys about a disastrous sunday trip down in S.E. Cornwall, where i had to go to attend a wedding the previous night, my parents live down there so i stayed over with the intention of going bass fishing on the sunday, so, at the crack of 10:30, i drove out to Rame head, accompanied by the faithful hound, and descended to one of the rocky promentories on the right hand side,

You can see Max cavorting on the side of the cliff like it was'nt instant death to fall off.

thats him coming away from the edge.

Anyway, a couple of hours throwing plugs and wedges into the water resulted
in bugger all, so I began the climb back up, all the while with the dog laughing at me!

About half way up, after my 15th stop, i realised i was'nt 25 any more, and sod this for a lark!

On arriving back at the car and starting out for home, i had the idea that i would nip down the coast a bit, and try Penlee point, having caught there in the past, what i forgot was the 20 minute walk, past copulating couples, and through gorse etc, to the point, where after an hour of fruitless casting, a suicidal mackerel took pity on me, and, having not blanked, i walked back (uphill) to the car, went back and slept!

Not very interesting i agree, but if you've been having a lean time of it recently, then maybe you'll feel better knowing that you're not alone!

Cheers boys!

That is one nutty dog.

Shame about the fishing, still beats the heck out of finding out why Fred Flinstones electric bill is wrong.

Don't cha just hate it when that happens??? I keep on running around like a nutter, playing cricket like I did when I was a teenager (I.E. Badly). Every time without fail, I wake up the next morning and my aching body tells me I'm not anymore. Arse.

Great report and pictures mate...
